An employer is looking to add an SEM Strategist to their team. The Search Engine Marketing Strategist is responsible for aiding the sales team and paid search team by auditing accounts, assisting in client calls, giving strategy recommendations, and helping with proposals. A successful candidate will have a high attention to detail, excellent communication, a deep understanding of paid search, ability to prioritize tasks, and strong organizational skills. They will provide support and strategy to the Paid Search Specialist Team and Sales Team and audit accounts and offer strategic suggestions to improve performance and meet client KPIs. They will assist in proposals and client calls as needed. They will also be responsible for creating and updating documentation for the company’s internal knowledgebase and stay informed of industry topics as it relates to paid search and recommend new best practices.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree — Marketing, Journalism or Business preferred
Previous experience managing Google Ads accounts
Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills
Solid organizational and time management skills
Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Solid understand of basic math, including algebra
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment 3-5 Years of SEM Campaign Management experience
Background knowledge of the digital media landscape and terminology
Familiarity with Microsoft Advertising
Google Ads Certifications or willingness to become certified upon employment null
