The role serves as a sales product and process specialist within the domain of Enterprise Performance Management. As a solution sales executive, the role brings experience and subject matter expertise to sales cycles which include the EPM suite and helps to differentiate and build executive relationships within the c-suite. The role also encompasses the full sales process from Business Development opportunitiy origination, running and managing deals to closing the transaction. The candidate partners with Account, Technology, and Industry ERP sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle Enterprise Performance Management solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility.

The account base is a part of Oracle’s Enterprise Accounts containing the majority of the Fortune 500 in the Regulated Industries. This sales position specifically targets Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management suite to include financial planning and analysis, close and consolidations, account reconciliations, tax and financial reporting, profitability and cost management, etc.

The individual should have a deep and thorough understanding of the office of finance and the functions within Enterprise Performance Management. Be able to have a relevant conversation regarding EPM-related best in class business processes face to face with the line of business executive, develop value based selling messages and have the ability to translate supply chain knowledge into the Industrial Manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

+ Generate and convert net new and expansion revenue for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management

+ Create and drive business value propositions with customers

+ Become a ‘trusted advisor’ in finance and accounting LOB within accounts

+ Work closely with the team (the Industry Business Unit, CORE Reps, Solutions Engineers, Business Development, Product Marketing, Product Development, etc.) to plan and complete a winning strategy for Oracle EPM in the XYZ industry

+ Create pipeline and demand by using sales campaigns and events

+ Progress existing pipeline from discovery to vendor of choice by adding EPM subject matter expertise to the sales process

+ Develop in depth understanding of Industry dynamics and terminology

Oracle EPM customers close their books faster by adapting quickly to changing business and compliance requirements while delivering faster, more accurate, and transparent reporting. Leverage built-in functionality that covers the full spectrum of end-to-end close tasks. Automate account reconciliations and transaction matching. Improve the efficiency and accuracy of their financial statements while addressing security and risk typically associated with the process. We align tax with corporate financial reporting for better visibility and compliance. Deliver transparent corporate tax processes-including tax provision and country by country reporting (CbCR). Our customers stay ahead of internal and external reporting requirements with narrative reporting for collaboratively authoring and publishing financial, management, and regulatory report packages. And overall, we empower customers to take charge of their enterprise date, managing business change with enterprise data management, including enterprise data governance, change data visualization, and hierarchy management.

This role requires 5-10 years of experience selling into the offices of finance and accounting, most preferably selling Enterprise Performance management solutions. A professional background or education in finance is a bonus.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $112,000 to $185,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50 – 70/30.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
