What to Expect
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to accelerate our vehicle-level testing by supporting and coordinating local operations, assisting with troubleshooting and incident reporting as needed. This is an individual contributor role; you are still expected to perform testing regularly.
This role requires the flexibility of traveling to domestic or international destinations as necessary.What You'll Do
Support the data collection effort to improve vehicle performance
Provide real-time on-site support, proactively resolving any roadblocks to ensure smooth operations
Provide training to local staff on step changes between software iterations
Lead real-world testing according to test specifications, as well as providing ad-hoc support for business-critical tasks and other team needs
Analyze test data, triage software issues and abnormal vehicle behaviors using Tesla in-house designed proprietary software tools
Communicate with developers and test engineers, be on-call for questions/comments if necessary
Maintain and document fleet conditions, coordinate repairs/retrofits as necessaryWhat You'll Bring
Valid Driver's License required
Strong computer skills, in particular a working knowledge and familiarity with MacOS, Linux, and Windows, as well as strong MS Office skills
Command Line Interface experience required
Fundamental understanding of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS)
Strong knowledge of electric vehicle systems and how they work, as well as strong troubleshooting skills preferred
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
Project management and/or fleet operations experiences preferred
