Job Summary
This role reports into the Corporate Communications team where you will develop and execute holistic communications strategies on behalf of Government & Individual Markets, aligning with business priorities, strengthening employee engagement and empowering leaders to communicate authentically with key audiences, both internal and external.
Responsibilities include managing a Corporate Communications team that will support and promote the opportunities within the priority divisions of Medicare, Medicaid, and Individual & Family Markets. Responsible for the development and implementation of communications that create a favorable market reputation to attract and retain business across specific lines of business. Also create innovative solutions to business problems to educate members and other stakeholders on maximizing their health benefits. Responsible for a broad range of communications activities based on marketplace and constituent needs in relation to the lines of business, corporate and senior leadership strategies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree and minimum of 8 years diverse corporate communications experience OR 12 years diverse corporate communications experience.
3 years management experience including performance reviews, developing talent, and oversight of budget.
Superior oral and written communication skills, including strategic messaging and editorial skills.
Experience developing high-quality internal and external communications.
Project management experience handling multiple projects including with disruptive urgencies and rapidly shifting deadlines.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Managed care/health care experience including knowledge of products and sales channels.
Execute holistic communications strategies within a corporate environment.
Knowledge of Government Health Insurance - Medicare, Medicaid & Individual Markets.
Experience working closely with executive leaders, ensuring authentic communication to key audiences, both internal and external.
Ability to report to the office 3 days per week.
