Job Description
Sr. Business Systems Analysts for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the US (HQ: Chicago, IL). Author and maintain detailed system documentation describing complex tools and processes. Work closely with product owners, engineers, and operations to document systems. Perform current-state and gap analysis to research and document business operations and systems. Improve systems to reflect current practices and design modifications. Translate technical flows into highly readable nontechnical requirements and diagrams. Prepare status reports. Ensure efficient on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones. Prepare instruction manuals, runbooks, and other training documentation. Perform system testing and user acceptance testing as needed. Act as a subject matter expert. Technical Environment: Technical Environment: Distilling, simplifying, and crystalizing concepts through diagrams and documentation; Gathering requirements and translating them into functional specification documents; relational databases; Business requirement and use case authoring; Databases environments and SQL reports; Workflow Diagramming; Data Dictionary Authoring; Writing SQL scripts for data extraction and analysis; Coding using Python for data analysis; data mapping for webservices; data mapping for APIs integration; resolving data mapping mismatches between integrated APIs; Postman and Postman documentation; SOAP UI and Rest APIs.
