Job Description

Job duties:  The Field Outreach Manager is responsible for developing partnerships with our clients/market providers (including electrical utilities), by designing and implementing programs aimed at increasing clients’ marketing and promotion of energy efficient products and services. The Field Outreach Manager’s job duties and responsibilities include the following: Develop partnerships with our clients/market providers that increase their customers’ energy savings generated by using Slipstream’s Energy Efficiency programs; Develop and track key performance indicators, including energy usage, natural resource usage, waste generations, and recycling, to measure the programs’ success; Maintain relationships and regular communication with market providers in an assigned area; Assist in developing and supplying the market providers with program marketing materials, including rebate forms, signs, and brochures; Assist market providers in developing and implementing individualized plans for integrating efficient products and programs into their businesses; Provide training for market provider staff on program goals, objectives, terms, conditions, materials, and related sales strategy as needed to support their participation; Seek out new clients/market providers in assigned territory and reengage dormant accounts; Plan, organize and prioritize workload to meet the needs of the market providers’ customers and programs; Identify and resolve project application issues with market providers’ customers; Serve as subject-matter expert in energy efficiency and other programs, representing market providers participating in Slipstream’s programs at trade association events and community-based events; Prepare reports and presentations regarding the effectiveness of Slipstream’s sustainability programs; Present to prospective clients, business groups, and trade associations on Slipstream’s energy efficiency programs; Seek out opportunities for partnership with trade associations to promote our energy efficiency programs and achieve energy savings; Develop and maintain technical knowledge in lighting, HVAC, and energy efficiency and architecture; Assist in creating and maintaining plans related to sustainability projects and in developing sustainability project goals and objectives; and, Actively participate as a member of Slipstream’s assigned workgroups.
