Job Summary
As a Business Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for application administration, and system configuration, and may assist with the identification and documentation of ITIL service management processes. The Business Operations Analyst will work closely with other members of the IT Service Management support team, process SMEs, and business partners to ensure operational efficiency and contribute to ongoing strategic initiatives.
Job Description

We are seeking a Business Operations Analyst to serve as a point of contact for our business teams and will provide support for various IT Service Management systems and processes. This is a full-time, remote, and long-term contract.

What You'll Do

  • Administer, configure, and maintain systems and/or processes that support IT Service Management and other business systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement solutions within various systems
  • Assist with system testing and ensure enhancements of systems and integrations run accurately and efficiently according to business requirements
  • Performs process analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysis to clarify business needs and challenges
  • Document and maintain business system documentation and records.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of process documentation and training materials
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex issues, collaborating with team members to resolve challenges

What You'll Need

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with content management systems, including configurations and administration
  • Understanding of ITSM applications and processes
  • Experience with service management processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytics skills to assist with developing technology solutions that solve business problems quickly
  • Communicate well both verbally and in writing
  • Team player, solid work ethic, flexible, able to change direction quickly
  • Great organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred:
  • Experience with the ServiceNow platform, including configuration and administration

Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
