PROJECT ESTIMATOR & MANAGER
With the support and direction from the 365 Equipment & Supply Director of Operations, this position will estimate, value engineer, and develop project proposals for indirect and direct materials on construction jobsites (including division 10 items and operable partition installations). This position will work cross departmental to ensure that all lines of business (re-rental, heavy equipment, etc.) are working to produce full take-offs and distribute project specific estimates. Jobs will need to be organized, tracked, analyzed, and planned from cradle to grave.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Estimating:
Solicit and analyze cost estimates from suppliers and other third-party vendors while ensuring the price of materials and labor costs align with the market.
Perform full take offs and pricing of project scope both manually and electronically.
Ensure customer satisfaction by identifying and exceeding client needs.
Facilitate the subcontractor bid process to include processing, distribution and tracking of all project bidding documentation.

Project Management:
Negotiate material supplier buyout; develop and negotiate subcontracts.
Plan and schedule projects
Manage jobs in progress including subcontractor coordination, conflict resolution, documentation and ensuring quality and safety on every job.
Manage project costs through the ongoing evaluation of labor, material, and equipment; continue to forecast and analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits through project completion.

Productivity Management:
Gather and analyze productivity data using software programs and templates.
Formulate and maintain historical database of production based on types of jobs and types of job conditions.
Adjust bid rates as needed based on actual production results.
Visit under-performing jobsites to assist with resolutions related to materials and equipment.

Additional Responsibilities:
Interact with clients and potential clients to identify and pursue potential work.
Prepare and participate in client presentations and project interviews; negotiate and secure new business under direct and close supervision.
Perform project closeout.
Work with Field Supervision to establish operation priorities and ensure safety and quality.
Provide leadership through building relationships, motivating others, providing clear direction, and cooperative teamwork.
Provide training and serve as a mentor to less experienced personnel.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in construction engineering or related work experience.
