Position Overview

The Tollway is a user-fee system – no state or federal tax dollars are used to support maintenance and operations. Operations are funded by toll and concession revenues.

Under the leadership of the Board of Directors and Executive Staff, the Tollway is committed to achieving the following goals: increase collaboration with regional transportation and planning agencies, promote the regional economy, maintain financial integrity, foster environmental responsibility and sustainability, maintain the safety and efficiency of the Tollway system, further transparency and accountability, enhance customer service, and maintain public trust.

In support of this vision, the Social Media Analyst will bring a proven ability to build and nourish a Stakeholder community of customers, influencers, and brand partners on social media platforms. Increase stakeholder engagement with content, ideas, and promotions through careful, consistent posts that maintain the right balance between platform relevance and brand professionalism.

 

Essential Job Functions
  • Grow social media reach, visibility, and engagement with the company’s community across all platforms with a particular focus on Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn
  • Track performance using both in and off platform metrics
  • Create and curate daily social media content including text and graphic layout/design in alignment with the Tollway’s master calendar and our content development team
  • Build relationships with social media influencers and plan collaborative marketing activities in coordination with our Field Engagement Team to build awareness and engagement
  • Help organize and promote our external engagement’s live events
  • On occasion attend community events to build relationships and create a brand presence
  • Respond to customers’ social media comments and messages in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with leadership on the role of social media in the development of a performance marketing program/targeted ad content program
  • Collaborate with team members on marketing videos, campaigns, launches.
  • Keep up to date on new and emerging trends, tools, platforms, and practices in social media
