The salary range for this role is:$104,334.88 - $187,674.24
Responsibilities:
The purpose of this position is to lead, manage, and coordinate the continuation of lean manufacturing roll-out and sustainment. This position will be responsible for the implementation and standardization of lean tools and systems. The position will deploy the lean manufacturing tools with the goal of identification and elimination of the seven wastes of manufacturing within Del Monte operations. The expectation is that this position will help develop a culture of continuous improvement that will provide sustained cost savings, quality improvements, and safety improvements that will significantly lower the cost of production of Del Monte products.
The position will report to Senior Director CI for overall implementation and lean vision and will be responsible for communication of their daily activities and responsibilities of the lean culture.
Be a champion of the lean manufacturing methodology, providing mentoring and support to each production facility to which the manager is assigned.
Lead implementation of Lean manufacturing concepts including 5S, Kaizen, Visual Controls, Standard Work, Pull, Value Stream Mapping, Total Productive Maintenance, and SMED.
Drive the company-wide continuous improvement effort to maximize safety, quality, and cost.
Develop and deploy metrics for monitoring the progress being made in each facility with emphasis on reporting OEE and cost reduction opportunities.
Design and lead Kaizen events that will positively impact the business unit operations.
Lead or participate in Six-Sigma projects.
Communicate to management and peers key outcomes and cost improvement efforts.
Identify and discuss opportunities with staff and lead implementation through fruition.

Qualifications:
BS in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Management.
Additional specific education in lean manufacturing and Six-Sigma processes would also be helpful
10-15 years of manufacturing experience in a high mix process-oriented environment.
Specific experience in lean manufacturing implementations.
Ability to travel 80% to support multiple manufacturing operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; engage all employee's with respect.
Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.
Ability to relate to all levels of a manufacturing organization.
Solid analytical skills.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
