Responsible for leading all NCQA Health Equity Accreditation work for Humana’s Medicaid markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in accreditation and survey administration, as well as experience in leading teams and providing guidance on complex accreditation questions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NCQA standards, manage team workload and work assignments, and play a key role in NCQA survey administration tasks. This is a dynamic role requiring strong leadership experience, critical thinking/problem solving skills, and a strategic mindset.

+ Leads a small team responsible for NCQA Health Equity Accreditation.

+ Provides guidance and support to associates on complex accreditation questions.

+ Develops and maintain work plans to ensure timely completion of accreditation requirements.

+ Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NCQA standards.

+ Provides regular updates to senior leadership on accreditation progress and any identified areas of improvement.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree.

+ Demonstrated expertise in NCQA accreditation and related processes, especially Health Equity Accreditation or Multicultural Healthcare Distinction

+ 5+ years of experience in Accreditation, Health Equity, or Population Health

+ Demonstrated success directing and leading teams

+ Proven experience managing and maintaining a positive, supportive team culture.

+ Project management experience with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

+ Master’s Degree in health-related field.

Additional information

+ Workstyle: Remote

+ Location: US

+ Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern and able to accommodate schedules and meetings in both Central and Eastern time zones.

+ Travel: 5% travel – typically, 3-5 times annually possibly outside of your state of residence for team engagement meetings, onsite audits, and trainings.

Work at Home Requirements

+ At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

+ Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

+ Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

+ Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

+ Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Interview Format

As part of our hiring process, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology provided by Hire Vue, a third-party vendor. This technology provides our team of recruiters and hiring managers an enhanced method for decision-making.

If you are selected to move forward from your application prescreen, you will receive correspondence inviting you to participate in a pre-recorded Voice Interview and/or an SMS Text Messaging interview. If participating in a pre-recorded interview, you will respond to a set of interview questions via your phone. You should anticipate this interview to take approximately 10-15 minutes.

If participating in a SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone to answer the questions provided. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed, and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$102,200 – $140,700 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
