Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a highly experienced Project/Program Manager with extensive knowledge and expertise in transit systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale transit projects within dense urban environments. This individual should possess exceptional leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of transit operations, and a proven track record of successful project management.

Role accountabilities:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of transit projects/programs from initiation to completion.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with transit agencies, government entities, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Provide guidance and support to project team members.
• Monitor project progress and performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 15+ years of experience in transit project management.
• Proven track record of managing operational rail transit systems.
• Experience working on large projects exceeding $250+ million in budget.
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects within dense urban environments.
• Expertise in multi-phase project/program management.
• Strong understanding of design-build methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with transit agencies and government organizations.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
