Job Description
Adecco is looking for a candidate to fill a Material Handler position in Rockford, IL. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include general labor tasks, material handling, and operating a sit-down forklift. The ideal candidate will have a background in warehouse operations, be detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills. Location: Rockford, IL
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm
Pay Rate: $16:50 per hour.
Responsibilities:
+ Put items to stock accurately and efficiently.
+ Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming material.
+ Maintain cleanliness, organization, security, and safety standards in the warehouse at all times.
+ Utilize RF Scanners to perform inventory transactions.
Qualifications:
+ Previous experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory, is preferred.
+ Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about warehouse inventory.
+ Experience operating various forklifts.
+ Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
+ Proficient computer skills are required.
Work Environment: This position is within a light industrial setting. Casual but appropriate attire is expected. Steel toe shoes are required, and confirmation will be provided in start details.
