LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Cloud Developer for a remote contract with potential to hire opportunity with our opinion research client in downtown Chicago, IL!

Responsibilities:

+ Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and services using AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features that meet business objectives.

+ Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications using React.js.

+ Build and maintain backend services using Python and Django framework.

+ Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.

+ Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

+ Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

+ Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

+ Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of cloud-based applications by implementing best practices and monitoring tools.

+ Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in both frontend and backend components.

+ Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

+ Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

+ 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on full-stack development.

+ Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services (incl., EC2, S3, Lambda, & RDS), with hands-on experience in designing and deploying cloud-native applications.

+ Strong proficiency in Python programming language and experience with Django framework.

+ Good experience developing responsive and interactive frontend applications using React.js.

+ Good experience developing RESTFul API’s

+ Solid understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.

+ Good communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset (as this Developer will be collaborating with multiple project teams).

+ Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer

Colorado Pay Range:

20 – 125/per Hour
