POSITION TITLE: Student Employee, CADD Tutor
STATUS: Part time

REPORTS TO: CADD Manager, Scott Boudreau
CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt
MINIMIUM PAY RATE: $14.00 per hour
(This position is FWS Eligible)
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. CADD Tutors will work with students as needed to review and support their understanding of the AutoCAD software, as it is taught in the CADD 101 classes.
2. Assist students with the appropriate development of class drawings and exercises, so as to reinforce their understanding of the lesson plans.
3. Check print cartridge and paper status for printer/plotters in all labs and fill out the daily report.
4. Add paper to the printer/plotters as necessary and store reams in the drawers.
5. Perform an inventory of supplies and classroom equipment once a month.
6. Upkeep of lab on daily basis or as necessary for monitors and mice.
7. Perform related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. GPA of 2.0 or above.
2. Currently enrolled in JJC with 6 or more credit hours.
3. CADD program major, have taken CADD classes in the past or have one year experience in related field.
4. Must have good organizational & visual skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Current CADD major or graduate of CADD program.

* Normal office physical demands.
WORKING CONDITIONS
* Duties are performed indoors in the usual office and/or classroom environment.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: This is a student employee position that works around your class schedule. May work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters. During summer and holiday breaks (Winter/Spring), may work up to 28 hours per week with supervisor approval.
