The team works with business and technology owners throughout the organization to ensure their processes and controls are reflected accurately within each report, and coordinates with external auditors and internal testing teams responsible for testing the controls.

The team consults control owners on responses to new requirements that impact their controls and helps ensure each report is fit for purpose. The team also executes SOC Governance activities that support the program, such as administering control assertions, responding to client questions, and maintaining intranet sites.

The team is currently also working on several program productivity initiatives which include a systems implementation requiring data standardization, process optimization, and stakeholder training.

This individual contributor role within the team is balanced between two high-level priorities:
1. Help implement Technology/Productivity Initiatives
2. Manage assigned SOC reports (including report content and project management)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology/Productivity Initiatives
• Assist with the implementation of WDesk
• Standardize data across reports and systems used within program
• Optimize and refine program processes based on new technology and data approach
• Prepare file scrubs, implementation data, etc. and perform UAT around imports and updates as needed
• Work with stakeholders to adopt new systems/processes

Report Content
• Work with stakeholders/auditors to strengthen target areas of ICFR content, such as articulating data flows within processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data used in controls / process flows
• Ensure controls align to attributes in report objectives, and work with business owners to align if necessary   Report Project Management
Serve as governance lead by providing proactive and accountable end-to-end project management, update, and coordination for assigned reports. Will need ability to jump in mid-process depending on joining date:
• Planning and timeline
• Update of documentation with business/technology owners
• Facilitate process and control walkthroughs
• Assertion of controls
• Facilitation of control testing, including triage and resolution of testing escalations and exceptions
• Exception investigation, analysis, and remediation tracking/closeout
• Communicate status to various stakeholders
• Off-cycle updates and communications

You:
• Have applicable experience with controls, narratives, stakeholder management, and exception analysis
• Are proactive, accountable, and engaged
• Apply critical thinking to responsibilities
• Ensure execution of critical deadlines
• Act with urgency when completing responsibilities and to facilitate/resolve testing escalations and exceptions
• Can carry out a variety of activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult
• Apply analytical skills to program and/or control data, evaluate impact, and articulate conclusions
• Manage or escalate competing priorities to ensure critical deadlines and initiatives are met
