Job Description
Grubhub Holdings, Inc seeks a Software Engineer II in Chicago, IL.
Duties:
- Work on software making decisions at the core of the Fulfillment organization deciding which delivery partners fulfill which orders.
- Work closely with Operations Research and Data Science to improve the assignment algorithm.
- Add functionality to a complex system working within timing constraints while dealing with scale.
- Build highly scalable & reliable additions to our platform.
- Accountable for delivery, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring the performance of your applications and the platform as a whole.
- Write performant and concise code to meet the defined Grubhub standards, review the code of peers, and ensure security and scalability of assigned features Use tools like Github to
version your changes.
- Create the backlog of tech debt and features, suggesting areas for improvement and enhancement.
