WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A NOC DIRECTOR

As the Network Operations Center (NOC) Director at Wisper ISP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our network systems. Your responsibilities will include network monitoring, surveillance, repair, and capacity management, all with the goal of maintaining a fully operational network with an impressive reliability of 99.999% uptime. You will collaborate closely with other departments to provide network design and configuration suggestions, taking into account current and future customer requirements.

As the NOC Director, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of talented professionals, including a Project Manager and NOC Employees. You will also represent the NOC department within the company, ensuring compliance with Wisper's core values and company policies. Additionally, you will have the chance to identify upgrade opportunities and travel up to 10% overnight as needed.

WOULD YOU BE A GREAT NOC DIRECTOR?

To be successful in the role of NOC Director at Wisper ISP, you will need a combination of industry experience, technical expertise, and strong leadership skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the Internet Service Provider industry. You should have 8-10 years of experience troubleshooting Fiber and/or Wireless/Network systems, allowing you to quickly identify and address network issues. Additionally, you should have 5-8 years of experience in employee management, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.

A current driver's license is necessary for this position, as some travel may be required. It is important to have regular and predictable attendance, as this role is critical in maintaining the reliability of our network. Finally, you must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment now or in the future. These skills and qualifications are essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our network and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Must have at least 10+ years of Internet Service Provider industry experience; 8-10 years' experience troubleshooting Fiber &/or Wireless/Network systems; 5-8 years' experience in employee management; Current Driver's License; Regular & predictable attendance required; Legally authorized to work in country of employment without
