Job Description
Arkman Logistics, Inc. seeks Logistics Analyst to coordinate efficient processing of air import shipments, from arrival to delivery, ensuring all shipments are delivered on time and in compliance with customers’ needs. Create custom applications that remove specific repetitive tasks and streamline processes. Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, or transportation. Apply analytic methods or tools to understand, predict, or control logistics operations or processes. Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes. Maintain databases of logistics information. Compute reporting metrics, such as on-time delivery rates. Analyze logistics data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, or cost or benefit analysis. Monitor transactions at warehouse facilities to assess receiving, storage, and shipping. Review procedures to ensure maximum efficiency or minimum cost.
