We are looking for an experienced Relationship Manager to join our Community Banking team!

Territory includes Lawndale/North Lawndale, Douglass Park, and Near West Side.

 

The Small Business Relationship Manager is responsible for the acquisition, retention, and expansion of new and existing loan, deposit, and treasury relationships. In this position, you will help structure, underwrite, negotiate, and manage complex credit relationships.

 

What Youll Do

  • Responsible for annual goals tied to loan and deposit volume, cross-sales, call planning/prospecting and fee income generation

  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships with businesses that generally have up to $2M inrevenue

  • Nurture and develop existing portfolio by assessing and meeting clients business and personal needs

  • Negotiate proper loan structure and effectively cross sell products

  • Maintain properly documented files and manage renewals and collection efforts on past dues and defaulted loans

  • Build and manage a professional network of COIs and referral sources

  • Maintain a stable network of prospective customers with a consistent approach to calling

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in related field preferred

  • Minimum 3 years relationship, community, and/or small business banking experience

  • Completion of formal bank credit training program, preferred but not required

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to proactively manage and prioritize workflow

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability establishing client relationships and working in a team environment
