Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, were looking to add a CNC Mill Machinist located in Buffalo Grove, IL.

 

Reporting to the Tooling Manager, the CNC Mill Machinist role involves performing a variety of complex, specialized tasks related to the construction, repair, maintenance, and calibration of machine shop tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and instruments.

 

Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm M-F

 

What a typical day looks like:

 

  • Operates various conventional machine shop equipment such as mills to produce and detail a variety of small parts, ranging from simple to complex, which are within prescribed tolerances.
  • Operates Computer Numerical Control (CNC) vertical mills with Fanuc controller and Roders/Roeders controller.
  • Performs machine set-ups, adjusting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut, to machined parts to specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc.
  • Checks machined parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances.
  • Required to operate numerical control machines.

 

The experience were looking to add to our team:

 

  • High School diploma, military technical training, or equivalent vocational training
  • Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of Tooling
  • CNC Milling experience required
  • CMM experience preferred
