JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
* Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.
* Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew.
* Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software.
* Oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
* Implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
Provides direction and solve tooling needs and improve production productivity.
* Work with multiple groups in the development of tool designs to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective solution.
* Determine adaptability of existing corporate applications and prepares feasibility studies for new applications.
* Coordinate various existing systems and operations with new systems and operations to ensure compatibility and directs others to modify systems accordingly to implement total package.
* Adhere to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc., in performing assigned duties.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronic or similar major) OR 15 years experience in tool and die making
* 5 years experience in Tooling Design and Heavy Fabrication
* Must have Experience in Project Management
* Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Ability to travel internationally 30% of the time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Spanish or Hindi Language Skills
* Experience in Lifting and Rigging
* Experience in Machine and System Integration
* Hands on Mechanical Aptitude
* GD&T Experience and 3D Modeling Experience
* Experience with Work Holding equipment
* Experience with PLC Programming, Robotics, Welding and/or Machining
