What you will be doing

Reporting to the Director of Generic Sales Remote, this position entails overseeing the daily operations and management of the GSSR Remote Sales team. The Supervisor of Generic Sales - Remote will offer guidance, mentorship, and supervision to the remote sales team within CRLTC to ensure the achievement of set goals, metrics, and objectives. Collaborating closely with the GSSR team is essential to address customer-related issues promptly and professionally. This role involves a partnership between remote and field operations, necessitating strong business acumen to collaborate effectively with field counterparts, generate impactful ideas, and guide the GSSR team in doing the same.

Responsibilities also include fostering long-term business partnerships within the team's territory, collaborating with the Director on strategic planning, process enhancements, and technology projects. Proficiency in change management is crucial for both short-term initiatives and sustained success.

Establishes and maintains a positive work environment creating engagement amongst associates.

Supervises team and ensures SOP's are correct and followed.

Fosters a work environment where everyone is respected for their contribution.

Coaches, counsels, and develops sales team through key performance measures (sales revenue, active accounts, retainment, growth & gross profit, etc.) and in- process measures (completed calls, total effort, average talk time, total talk time, hours logged, call monitors, etc.)

Monitors and implements coaching on calls and in weekly 1:1's to ensure quality sales techniques, service and pull through of coaching to ensure progress

Conducting performance reviews for all direct reports through focused check ins and the yearly review process.

Provides input on development of succession plans to ensure growth of team members.

Responsible in managing labor hours and vacation, sick, and personal time off to ensure schedule provides optimum sales coverage.

Responsible in support the selection process, training and performance management for any new talent needed.

Maintains focus on highly competitive, multi-segments in the pharmaceutical market for the purpose of increasing current GRX sales and compliance

Actively runs and participates in sales meetings focused on improving sales revenue, productivity & gross profit and comparing YTD to budget

Assists Director, Generic Sales - Remote in providing visibility with current competitor's strengths, weaknesses, movement, and overall market knowledge to help mold current and future strategy.

Participates in sales team meetings and customer meetings as needed.

Where needed builds positive relationships with customers through learned sales skills and techniques. Communicate on process issues and report problems to sales director upon discovery (proactive).

Leverages internal supporting teams to ensure we proactively are taking action to maintain current competitive pricing, products and smart price deviation where applicable.

Shows mastery in analyzing data to uncover opportunities, gaps & trends as well as coaches team to do this to drive workflow opportunity prioritization

Stays up to date on all market dynamics and supports the team to do so as well. Assists with the introduction of new products into assigned markets.

Audits and analyze call volumes, and monthly sales numbers to ensure team is performing efficiently and meeting obligations

Embrace and drive new strategy & technology change and supports organization's overall Modernization of Remote Sales Initiative

What your background should look like

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a two year associate's degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education; normally requires a Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building skills to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with both customers and other ABSG associates
