Molex LLC is seeking a Senior Analyst for Trade and Customs Operations. This position interacts regularly with internal and external individuals at many levels of the organization. Individuals in this role will maintain compliance with all applicable AME (US -90% and Canada-10%) trade regulations and laws and ensure compliance in day-to-day import/export activities.

What You Will Do

Serve as a process owner for Molex Imports and exports by working with the customs broker and, liaising with transportation/logistics and freight forwarders personnel to resolve their queries to conduct day-to-day import/export activities.
Maintain compliance with all AME trade regulations and laws and ensure compliance in day-to-day import/export activities.
Assess the products for any PGA applicability (Mainly FDA), ADD/CVD, section 301, 232 applicability, TSCA, and various import restrictions and provide clearance instructions to the broker.
Monitor Post entry audit and corrections done by CoE team, Prepare response for CF 28/29, Liquidation damage notices.
Assist with implementing, updating, maintaining, and monitoring Trade Compliance policies, procedures, SOPs, and guidelines.
Interact regularly with multifunctional groups in distribution, legal, outside service providers, management, procurement, engineering, transfer teams, and others to accomplish trade compliance operational objectives.
Support various trade compliance projects, developing dashboards, metrics, reports, and other initiatives. Provide training to key stakeholders when required.
Work in SAP GTS and SAP ECC, and familiarity with SAP ECC with more functions and reports.
Organize and maintain regulatory required recordkeeping.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

 

5+ years of experience with US Import Operations
Experience in HTS/Schedule B/ECCN classification, COO, valuation, Incoterms, Free Trade Agreements, determining ADD/CVD, PGA applicability.

What Will Put You Ahead

 

Bachelor's degree in international business
US Customs Broker License/CCS
Experience in Drawback, Reconciliation, Import, export restrictions, License determinations etc.
Experience using SAP
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Ability to tie corporate strategic initiatives into trade compliance organization resulting in trade.
reduction costs and hard/soft bottom-line savings
Good organization skills and the ability to work across different functions and divisions.
Exercises solid business judgment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a good listener
High degree of integrity
Travel: 10-20%

In order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.
