Position Summary
This Director of Demand Management will drive demand growth through high impact demand generation initiatives, guided by pipeline health and strategic business priorities. Internally, this team will implement a robust governance model to review overall business health, identify new activities and track execution. Collaborating across functions, this role will identify key insights, strategize, plan and execute on a demand plan tailored to strategic business priorities by segment, solution and industry. This trusted advisor will identify pipeline gap, understand the activities to bridge that gap and orchestrate demand generation demand generation initiatives across a segment.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy, including sales plays aligned with company objectives, utilizing outbound tactics
Evaluate and recommend suitable technology stack to monitor and measure effectiveness of our demand strategy
Assess strength and weakness across relevant solution areas and segments based on business results and other key performance indicators
Establish, execute and assess performance and progress of activities to ensure alignment to pipeline health metrics
Develop an integrated demand plan with Sales, Marketing & Partner teams, coordinate/oversee execution, and monitor results to understand viability & repeatability within the business
Package tactical sales plays tailored to specific customer or prospect segments
Provide visibility into ongoing and future demand generation activities, share results with all stakeholders and generate insights to fully achieve market potential
Uphold continuity and governance in Demand Management Framework
Manage and develop a team of professionals, providing leadership, coaching, and career growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in analytical discipline (Finance, Business, Computer Science, Engineering)
10+ years work experience in B2B demand generation activities or relevant experience
Experience working with large technology/SAAS companies is a strong asset
Analytical mindset and experience with data-driven decision-making
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
Self-starter capable of independent work and team leadership skills
Familiarity with various Go-To-Market models and demand planning methodologies.
Track record of driving continuous improvement aligned with organizational objective.
Exceptional relationship building skills, ability to collaborate & sell internally
Strong financial & business acumen and problem-solving skills
Exceptional oral and written executive communication skills
