Job Description

Defines and builds DevSecOps requirements and capabilities; identifies production issues and implements integrations that meet customer needs; builds Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) Pipeline capabilities in Jenkins to deliver new versions of software and improve software delivery throughout the software development lifecycle via automation; builds and manages the Hertz container management platform; deploys and maintains Kubernetes environments and leverages Kubernetes systems to automate the deployment and management of Cloud applications; builds and supports Helm packaging templates to deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes; works with GIT and GIT workflows to manage source code; performs root cause analysis for production errors, mentors DevOps Engineers on the team, and works with senior management to on-board new projects; analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a DevOps Engineer (or closely related occupation) performing software engineering and DevOps using GIT, Jenkins, Docker, and Java; Or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a DevOps Engineer (or closely related occupation) performing software engineering and DevOps using GIT, Jenkins, Docker, and Java. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated expertise (“DE”) using software programming languages (Java and Spring Boot) with REST based microservices deployed in a container platform; DE maintaining GIT workflows for version control (Source Code Management) to simplify developer experience, accelerate automation integration, and provide easy-to-consume governance of application changes; DE building, developing, and maintaining automated Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) Pipelines for code deployment using Jenkins.
