Job Description
Provide skilled front office and clinical support to the physician practice and serve as a liaison between the physician and patient to coordinate care. When required, provides direct patient care by working collaboratively with the care team. Functions as a member of the patient's ambulatory care team while delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring patient safety, privacy and loyalty.Provide healthcare services under the direction of the Practice Manager and/or designee, and physicians.
Duties
Knowledge and demonstration of NCH customer service standards
Knowledge of and compliance with Federal, State and local laws that apply to the job's area of responsibility
Knowledge of and compliance with NCH policies and procedures that apply to the job and area of responsibility
Ongoing growth and development from participation in events such as workshops, in-service programs and departmental meetings
Provide service based on physical, psychological, educational and related criteria appropriate to the age and type of the patients/customers served in their area
Minimum Formal Education Required:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
CPR Certification through American Heart Association
