As an internal communications analyst, you will implement and support a fully integrated employee communications strategy for the Administrative Services department. You will lead and collaborate with department staff on improvement strategies to enhance communication effectiveness across a variety of communication vehicles. You will develop and implement processes and tools that foster clear, effective, timely and well-coordinated communications. Acting as a liaison between team members and management, you will coordinate projects, create and administer budgets, and monitor and analyze spending and projections to authorize financial commitments, project future performance, and purchasing activities and interfaces with vendors. You will develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of message delivery. This level of work is considered advanced, and you must be able to work under minimal supervision. You will have no direct reports.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

+ Implement communications strategy for major change initiatives and for cascading Bank-wide strategy, leveraging resources across the organization.

+ Write, produce and disseminate information such as brochures, newsletters, promotional and marketing materials with particular emphasis on department leadership needs and specific audiences, such as Bank retirees

+ Create written/verbal communication efforts to support departmental needs, with a focus on department leadership needs.

+ Develop internal and external communications for stakeholder groups, including use of innovative technologies to reach multiple audiences

+ Collaborate with content providers to craft meaningful and understandable communications based on audience needs

+ Provide project management support for department internal communication activities, teams, programs, processes and special projects.

+ Ensure internal communications are integrated to reflect the desired tone and culture of the organization and synchronized for effective and timely message delivery.

+ Devise feedback and two-way communication mechanisms to garner employee, manager and officer input.

+ Assist Internal Communications management in executing creative concepts for strategic awareness campaign. Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Assist in change management projects to meet departmental changes/needs

Education and Experience

+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field

+ 3 to 5 years experience developing and executing internal communications

Knowledge and Skills

+ Writing and editing to AP Style

+ Must be highly detailed oriented, with the ability to check facts and figures for accuracy, as well as manage the timeliness of approval cycles for edited content

+ Proven written and oral communications skills, including the ability to convey complex subject matter in an understandable and interesting style

+ Strong project management skills

+ Familiarity with Cold Fusion, HTML and content management techniques a plus

+ Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Quart Express, Photoshop, and Illustrator a plus
