vInsight Global is looking for a regional sales representative to assist with sales of our client’s press division. Candidates will be selling stamping presses and systems to customers, directly and/or through distribution. Hire new distributors (DBS) as necessary in the central and eastern hemisphere of the US sales territory as well as train and maintain sales ability of any distributor sales staff. Make regular sales calls to customer base and coordinate demonstrations with KAILLC staff. Enter all sales call data (direct or with DB) into Contact Manager daily.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop successorship strategy to secure candidates one year minimum away from leaving.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategy to meet company sales goals.
  • Implement sales and marketing tools and suggest changes to meet market demands and customer requirements as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain Distributor Network in the sales territory.
  • Manage sales performance within company profitability requirements.
  • Building trust, credibility, and relationships with all customers and distributors which includes being heavily engaged, staying organized, demonstrate excellent follow up skills, paying attention to details and having a proactive approach and accountable in all sales activities while interfacing with internal resources, customers and distributors,
  • Managing the sales activities of Komatsu presses and systems to customers, directly and/or through distribution,
  • Hire new distributors as necessary in specified sales territory as well as train and maintain sales ability of these distributor sales staff,
  • Make regular sales calls/visits with distributors and coordinate demonstrations with KAIC staff, Enter both customer and distributor contact information into Contact Manager daily, Follow up with all customer leads,
  • Focus and communicate the benefits of the Komatsu products vs. negatively referencing the competition’s products,
  • Anytime you are conducting business on Komatsu’s behalf you must adhere to a professional dress code. Business casual dress pants and shoes are required
