This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As a Legal Process Administrator at John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, Illinois , you will:

+ Serve as the administrator for John Deere’s entity management system, hCue. The role requires technical expertise in maintaining accurate data in a global database, including overseeing access and use by global legal professionals and training others. Coordinate entity management activities, including working with corporate records of legal entities, maintaining corporate minute books, drafting corporate records, preparing complex reports, integrating records through mergers and acquisitions, and filing records with state agencies as required.

+ Review and accurately interpret legal documents such as audit engagement requests, identifying when to escalate issues for further review. Work within various internal and external systems, databases, and workflows to move business processes forward to meet applicable deadlines for a variety of activities handled by the securities and finance team.

+ Independently administer receipt, distribution and tracking of documents and data, including file setup and data input, identify and collect related data, deadline follow-up, distribution of appropriate internal notifications, and closure and storage of files.

+ Manage operational processes for assigned attorneys including records management and retention, meeting coordination, invoice processing, arranging travel, and expense processing.

What Skills You Need

+ One or more years’ experience in a corporate legal environment or law firm

+ One or more years’ experience maintaining confidential data

+ High level of attention to detail and accuracy

+ Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and/or tasks

+ Familiarity with various computer programs and applications, both those specific to the department and of general applicability (e.g. Microsoft Office suite, Docusign)

+ Ability to work proactively, independently, and as part of a high-performing team

+ Initiative, growth mindset and commitment to lifelong learning

What Makes You Stand Out

+ Three or more years’ experience in a corporate legal environment or law firm

+ Experience with entity data in a corporate environment and/or with entity management databases like hCue

+ Ability to conduct legal research

+ Understands legal department functions and how the department’s work fits within the John Deere Enterprise

+ Familiarity with agile work models, comfort with experimentation and commitment to continuous improvement

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

+ Miscellaneous degree or equivalent experience. – Technical degree or apprenticeship (1-2 years or equivalent)
