Job Description
DevOps Engineer II (Chicago, IL). Duties: Drive developer experience improvements through automation and standardization; triage platform issues responding to automated alerts/pages; perform advanced troubleshooting and monitoring of systems to ensure SLA and capacity requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field. Two years’ IT experience, including some solid experience in each: Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP); Kubernetes; GitLab CICD pipeline; SQL and NoSQL databases; Java; Python; C++; Bash/Shell scripts; Prometheus; Grafana; Terraform; Datadog; Ansible; NginX. Red Hat Delivery Specialist Certifications in Automation, API Management, and Platform; IBM Certified Administrator - Cloud Pak for Multicloud Management v1.3; GitLab Certified Professional Services Engineer.
