Responsible for conducting in-depth credit analyses for new and existing commercial and ag loan relationships. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform credit analyses and financial statement reviews of complex loans, industries, and commercial and ag loan relationships.
Create professional credit presentations and recommendations for review by key lending personnel.
Monitor loan requests and risk ratings for adherence to written lending policies and regulatory guidelines. Make recommendations for changes to the risk ratings if applicable.
Research industry specific information from outside sources and provide analysis.
Voting member of the Credit Underwriting Committee
Assist with training of colleagues and review their work.
Meet with commercial customers of the Bank on a scheduled basis in conjunction with the loan officers to foster relationships and enhance the Bank's understanding of credits.
Participate in projects and complete training associated with job function.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred or commensurate experience.
3+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis or banking industry. Formal advanced training in Microsoft Excel preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills
Exhibits the ability to gather, consolidate, analyze and summarize data to provide well-considered recommendations on a substantially independent basis.
Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and expectations related to the lending function.
Possess stronger than average self-management, time-management, organization, and multi-tasking skills
Comfortable in a team environment working with deadlines.
