Job Description
Job Title: Transportation Manager Reports To: CEO
Company: C1 Transportation, Inc. Location: JOLIET, IL
· Manage the over the road truck transportation division, including the identification of new business opportunities and the development of new products and services.
· Manage the day-to-day operations of the division, including the scheduling and dispatch of trucks, the management of driver and vehicle safety programs, and the implementation of quality control measures.
· Collaborate with the CEO and other management to align the division’s objectives with the company’s overall strategy.
· Lead and manage the over the road truck transportation team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance coaching as needed.
· Monitor and report on the division’s performance, including regular analysis of key metrics such as revenue, customer satisfaction, and cost control.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and industry standards.
