Job Description

Responsible for successful delivery and execution of key strategic initiatives as part of the overall SaaS platform roadmap. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and product specifications. Manage the product roadmap by understanding how our product can make internal and external customers more effective in executing their strategy. Collaborate with other product managers and leaders to synthesize complex product requirements leading to a value-added platform initiative. Manage competing priorities with a variety of stakeholders – business & product leaders, engineers, partners, and especially our end users – by making thoughtful trade-offs and communicating clearly. Establish detailed product development plan together with technology leaders, including prototypes, schedules for Dev, QA, user acceptance testing and production launch. Develop a strong technical understanding of Supernova’s product and platform by working closely with our team and our customers. Apply technical understanding of enterprise SaaS software, financial services data platforms, analytics, and enterprise IT environments. Drive cross-functional teams to execute the product development plan aiming at quick time-to-market, high product quality while optimizing resources. Identify, evaluate and integrate new features and enhancements to Supernova’s platform strategy to drive business value. Work with customers, partners, and professional services teams to obtain feedback and product feature recommendations for input into the roadmap. Ensure consistent communication with customers, partners, and internal Supernova stakeholders.  Sole designer and Subject Matter Expert on the structure and function of the Centralized Configuration Center, a product that runs through all core products of the supernova system. Define all configuration items and function for the product.  Design all new functionality UI/UX experience. Develop and expand the system hierarchy of configurations and levels based on the client’s relationship structure.  Implement and maintain the structure for all institution and data. Owner of all data dictionary mappings to take external data and map it to our internal standard data. Allows for the option to telecommute from home office in the Chicago metro area 1 day per week.

At least a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, or related field of study and 2 years of experience as computer systems analyst, business analyst, or IT product/project manager, or related occupation.

*Specific skills and other requirements:  2 years of experience with the following:  

  • Database structure in order to troubleshoot and design the systems to house these products
  • Performing Project management to balance all products and Business Analysts as stakeholders into the development of the Configuration Center
  • Using Data Science background to optimize the structure to reduce error rate
  • Product UI/UX design to create a center where internal users can manage and launch clients independent of development
  • Adobe Acrobrat for all document mapping and generation
  • Docusign administration for integration
  • API integration to build connections and configurations for internal and external APIs
