Job Description
Amount, Inc. seeks a Strategic Finance Associate in Chicago, IL.
Duties: Build financial tools to drive efficient and effective financial analysis (including product, partnership or acquisition opportunities, cost initiatives etc.) Own financial performance analysis while working closely with Amount’s Executive team to monitor KPIs and performance relative to forecast while managing monthly internal and external reporting. Manage the financial vendor management process through budgeting, monthly reviews with business segment owners and implementing cost initiatives. Develop and implement best practice processes to support company and finance department growth, optimize productivity, and achieve operational excellence. Collaborate with Business Development, Finance, & Strategy leadership to ensure Amount has competitive standardized pricing models and go-to-market strategy. Support evaluation and due diligence of M&A opportunities. Assist the Head of Corporate Development and Company Executives to build, manage and monitor the merger integration plan and process. Telecommuting is permitted.
Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or related field and two (2) years of experience in FP&A Analyst or other analytical role. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or related field or related field plus 1 year of experience in FP&A Analyst or other analytical role. * Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
Requires 2 years of experience (1 year with a Master’s) in financial analysis and modeling. Requires 2 years of experience (1 year with a Master’s) in budgeting and forecasting. Requires 2 years of experience (1 year with a Master’s) with PowerPoint. Requires 2 years of experience (1 year with a Master’s) with process development and implementation.
