We are seeking a Solution Architect to join our Data Migration team. The Data Migration team assists clients with migrating their patient and clinical data from their current Electronic Health Record (EHR) to a new go forward EHR. This position will be focused on implementing modern applications and tools and optimizing ETL processes used by the migration team. Galen’s Data Migration team enjoys a high retention rate, competitive compensation, and a flexible work/life balance.

General duties are primarily using C# to define, design, and build scalable applications to support the execution of data migration projects. Team members are empowered and expected to make key decisions in their designs and implementations, supported directly by their leadership. As a key member of the team, you will be expected to think and communicate about your work at a high level within the team, in addition to understanding the details.

Essential Duties

· Design solutions, taking advantage of existing assets while maintaining a balance between architecture requirements and specific needs within the team

· Create prototypes, conduct proofs of concepts, evaluate options with pros and cons and provide recommendations

· Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the project execution corresponds with what was planned during the solution definition

· Provide consulting support to technical engineers within the team to ensure the project or product is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture

· Ability to build intuitive and highly scalable web applications using the Microsoft stack
