Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in communications, training, organizational change management or information systems.

Minimum Experience / Training Required:
• Extensive experience (at least 5 - 7 years) leading change, communication and training efforts for multiple global, complex technology implementations.
• Prior consulting experience delivering projects and navigating client-facing environments.
• Design Thinking, Culture and Branding/Marketing experience preferred.
• LaMarsh, Prosci, CCMP or other Change Management Certification.

Experience:
• Experience with major transformational, cultural change programs leading to new capabilities.
• Ability to apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people-sided change caused by projects and change efforts.
• Experience with organizational design and organizational effectiveness tasks and delivery.
• Highly developed communication skills with expertise in producing organization-wide communications, communication strategy, including cascading messages, collateral, talking points, posters, job aids, presentations, etc.
• Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills, excellent active listening skills and ability to work effectively at all levels across the global organization.

Main Purpose of Role
• Abbott aims to create an industry leading customer-centered digital experience with clear and consistent customer experience principles and capabilities, supported by unified technologies.
• We have established a multi-year Digital Transformation program to enable consistent digital experiences and build next-generation digital capabilities.
There are multiple workstreams that will run concurrently that cover various areas:

Digital Channel Experiences:
• Create the journey, experience, and engagement design and principles; incorporate new brand architecture in design framework.
Workflow and Operations:
• Build our foundational

capabilities:
• Design clear workflows,  

Scope:
• Digital transformation will be fueled by culture change. We seek an OCM resource to help us develop and execute an overarching organizational change management strategy and plan to help realize the success of our Digital Transformation vision.  

Required Role-specific experience/background:
• Experience with OCM related to digital transformation and/or global marketing.   Preferred Role-specific experience/background:
• Experience with Abbott and/or healthcare industry.  
Skills:
• Leverage change management methodology and apply as appropriate for the business environment, adjusting as needed to ensure focus is on execution and impact for the people-side change driven by a transformation initiative.
• Develop Project OCM Approach and Strategy documents.
• Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
• Develop and execute set of actionable and targeted change management plans, including communication plan, stakeholder management plan, change impacts, & training plan (if applicable).
