Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, were looking to add a Production Specialist - Day Shift located in Buffalo Grove, IL.

 

Reporting to the Production Supervisor the Production Specialist - Day Shift role involves being responsible for a variety of complex operations and duties in a production area.

 

Hours: 6:00 am-6:00 pm (A Shift - Rotating)

 

What a typical day looks like:

 

  • Respond to machine alarms as they occur, identify the root cause, correct as needed.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components and return to serviceability.
  • Repair and maintain electrical controls on assembly.
  • Repair robot end tools, mechanical systems, and controls, calibrate and adjust robot pick and place points if needed.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance actions on all subsystems and related components.
  • Assist automation team in the qualification process of automated systems.
  • Assists with customer presentations and interfaces with customers.
  • Records procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or method.
  • Maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation/robotic system components.
  • Maintains software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.

 

 

The experience were looking to add to our team:

 

  • 2-4 years experience in similar position
  • Minimum 1 year machine troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with assembly requirements
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Medical device experience is preferred
