We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year, with the possibility of extending into the 2024-2025 school year. This position is located within a welcoming and community-oriented early childhood center in Dolton, where the commitment to support both staff and students is paramount. Responsibilities:

+ Conduct evaluations to assess speech needs and growth areas for early childhood students

+ Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to preschool students

+ Assist in developing student’s Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

+ Collaborate with teachers and staff to address students’ speech and language needs

+ Observe students, collect data, and adjust treatment plans accordingly

+ Conduct training on communication disorders for staff and the community

+ Perform additional assigned duties

Qualifications:

+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

+ Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois

+ Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
