Speech Language Pathologist

AnthroMed Education is looking to expand our community of Speech-Language Pathologists. We have an immediate, full-time, Speech-Language Pathologist opening for the 2023-24 school year with our school partners in Gages Lake. This position is in a highly supportive and community-focused elementary school that will provide excellent resources to SLP’s and their students. This elementary focused position will partner with anther SLP in the building to provide speech services to a mixed caseload of students. It doesn’t get better than this! Responsibilities:

+ Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth

+ Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students at the elementary level

+ Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

+ Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students’ speech and/or language needs

+ Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans

+ Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

+ Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois

+ Previous experience in a K-12 setting

+ Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
