Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Water/Wastewater Engineer reporting to our Bloomington, IL office with the flexibility to be based in either our Champaign, Peoria, Springfield, or St. Louis, MO office. In this role, you will be focused on water/wastewater/stormwater project management, as well as the planning, design and management of various civil engineering projects.
Job Activities:
Manage a variety of water and wastewater projects from planning through design, permitting and construction
Work directly with clients and a multi-discipline design team to manage projects
Preparation of planning studies and reports for evaluation of project alternatives
Perform hydraulic calculations and modeling for water and sanitary sewer analysis
Preparation of reports on engineering analysis and modeling results
Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to facilitate permit approvals
Manage construction with client and contractor including periodic site visits and meetings
Lead business development activities and preparation of proposals
Specific Requirements include:
BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master's degree preferred
15 or more years of Water/Wastewater Process Engineering experience
Professional Engineer (PE) License
Strong project management, communication and organizational skills
Involvement with professional organizations encouraged
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
