Salary:
$118,000 - $126,000

SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the strategic planning of production schedules and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer and production demands. This role requires a strong focus on coordinating resources efficiently to maintain a streamlined production flow while managing inventory to prevent shortages or overstock situations.

Responsibilities:

Production Scheduling:
Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely completion of manufacturing processes and adherence to schedules.
Adjust production schedules in response to changes in demand, resource availability, or unforeseen disruptions.
Inventory Control:
Implement inventory control strategies to maintain accurate stock levels aligned with production schedules and aftersales customer demand.
Monitor inventory turnover rates, analyze demand patterns, and forecast future inventory needs to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to manage inventory replenishment and optimize inventory holding costs.
Resource Allocation:
Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support production schedules.
Optimize staffing levels and production capacities to maximize efficiency and output without compromising quality standards.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization in production scheduling and inventory management.
Implement improvements to streamline workflows, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency in production and inventory control.
Optimize inventory levels to both meet customer responsiveness and minimize capital impacts.
Drive Plan for Every Part (PfEP) activities in tandem with Warehouse and Manufacturing teams.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate reports on KPI's, inventory levels, and scheduling accuracy.
Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to enhance operations.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team responsible for production scheduling and inventory control activities.
Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team operates efficiently and meets performance targets.
