Job Description
Job Summary
We currently have an opportunity for a Summer 2024 EH&S Intern to join the manufacturing team at our Melrose Park, IL facility.
Responsibilities
Identification & labeling of confined and permit required spaces
Assist with the investigation of incidents and near misses
Review and update Hazard Communication records
Assist EHS and ISO Managers in continuous improvement activities
Requirements
Intern candidates must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S.
Our internships are unable to accommodate OPT/CPT
Interns are responsible for their own housing
Working toward Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Engineering
Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university program; pursuing a business related degree
Be classified as a minimum of a sophomore
Must be planning to return to school at the end of his/her break
