Job Summary
Line cook position for a reliable individual looking to expand their culinary skills and grow with us.
Responsibilities & Duties
+ Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing assigned items for foodservice
+ Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices
+ Assists other cooks during emergencies or rush periods
+ Inspects and cleans food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
+ Assist in plating food items for service
+ Cleans assigned workstation areas
+ Ensures food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
+ Carefully follows instructions and procedures set and communicated by the Chef
Qualifications & Skills
+ Reliable
+ Required Certification(s): Food Handlers
+ Able to communicate effectively with other team members
+ Minimum of 2 years experience working in busy bars/restaurants
+ Knowledge of modern kitchens, chefs, and techniques
+ Must have a positive attitude and be self-motivated
+ Must interact with brunch guests and ensure a great experience
+ Flexible scheduling
