The Construction and Engineering Global Business Unit (CEGBU) of Oracle is the world’s leading project and portfolio management software organization. Working as part of a QA team, you will be called upon to analyze problems, suggest and assess multiple alternative quality solutions, and develop high-quality regression and automated testing. BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, is required. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment is essential. Ideal candidates have a passion for the software development field and actively stay on top of technology trends and best practices. An Applications Engineer works as part of a cross-functional development/QA team to deliver the next releases of our enterprise project and portfolio management products. Ability to quickly grasp and communicate technical, business, and design information is preferred.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, design, install, and evaluate quality control methods and systems;

+ Design continuing maintenance of product quality;

+ Display understanding of roles, processes, and procedures;

+ Perform moderately complex problems solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes;

+ Develop and execute automated test scripts for requirement validation, regression, performance, security, accessibility and compliance testing

+ Create and maintain a reusable and configurable set of automated tests.

+ Identification and creation of reusable test data, particularly for automated testing

+ Maintain understanding of current and new testing technologies

+ Assist with team training as needed

Job Qualifications:

+ BS degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related and relevant to functional area;

+ 2+ years of software engineering or related experience;

+ Proficient user of Linux operating system

+ Experience with various automation frameworks;

+ Experience in SOAP Services and REST APIs

+ Experience with Test tools (Bug tracking, Life Cycle Management, Test Management);

+ Experience with various operating systems (Windows, Linux);

+ Experience with Oracle DB’s;

+ Programing/Development experience;

+ Worked with Java, JSON, API services;

Nice to Have:

+ Work in Virtualized Environments (Oracle);

+ Test tools (JIRA, Selenium, TestRail, JENKINS);

+ Experience testing Cloud Application

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $68,300 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
