We are currently seeking a Senior Chemist to join our Ink Development team in Wood Dale IL.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop innovative ink jet inks to drive growth.
+ Contribute significantly to formulation design ideas.
+ Participates in defining technical approaches, and in planning and scheduling work.
+ Contribute to the identification and resolution of key project risks.
+ Produce project related documentation and review to ensure accuracy.
+ Provide technical leadership to colleagues with less experience.
+ Ensure that assigned phase of a project is successfully completed on time.
Key Requirements:
Education:
+ B.S. degree in chemistry, material science, ink/ coating / adhesive science, or closely related field.
+ An advanced technical degree is preferred.
Prior Experiences:
+ 5+ years of hands-on industrial experience in inks, coatings, adhesives or other chemical formulations.
+ Proven ability to work with complex machines and/ or industrial equipment.
+ Understanding of ink jet printers and their interactions with inks is highly preferred.
+ Previously demonstrated success in product development and innovation.

+ Results oriented - is willing to work in the lab more than 70% of the time.
+ Communication - can effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.
+ Prioritization- ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment.

+ Problem solving- ability to solve complex technical problems.
+ Demonstrated leadership skills.
