Job Description
Freedman Seating Company has been in business for over 125 years and is a leading manufacturer of transportation seating products (bus, rail, marine, delivery truck, commercial, and specialty vehicles), located on the west side of Chicago has an immediate opening for a Part Number and Bill of Materials Specialist.
The primary function of this position is to create and maintain data records related to Part Numbers, Bills of Materials, and Work Center information in Made 2 Manage (M2M) ERP system, using flat and 3D drawings. Negotiates with Design and Manufacturing Engineers to compile information for data entry and communication to the production floor. Work in a friendly environment with fellow team members in this family-owned company. Job Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:+ Previous ERP system experience
+ Detail oriented
+ Ability to read and comprehend Engineering drawings or blueprints a plus
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
+ Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
+ Ability to work independently.
+ College or technical degree a plus
+ Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
