Your Role at Baxter:
Baxter's Global FP&A team is a high-performing and highly visible team responsible for leading the financial planning and reporting process for the total company. In addition, the team acts as a critical business partner to the CEO, CFO, region presidents, and business unit heads by providing financial insights into company performance and trajectory through financial analysis and capital management.

What You'll be Doing:
Lead Capital Planning, monitoring and work with business teams for strategic allocation of Capital
Build and maintain multi-year capital expenditures forecast for the company and ensure capital expenditures align with the company's strategic objectives and meet financial return criteria.
Develop and implement disciplined financial criteria for evaluating and approving capital expenditures
Monitor the financial performance of completed projects, including tracking actual expenditures versus budget, and conducting post-completion reviews.
Provide guidance and support to business units in the preparation of capital expenditure requests and approvals.
Lead CAPEX Approval Routines - build presentation & guidance materials and facilitate Capital Approval Review; provide agenda & presentation materials for Global Executive Capital Committee review.
Continuously improve and streamline reporting and lead automation efforts of key Capital Reporting models
Develop new processes to track the result of previous and active investments to strategically inform future decisions (i.e., capital spend to expected gross savings on the P&L)
Lead Scenario planning analysis which helps transform the finance organization mindset from backward-looking to forward-looking & driver based planning.
Increasing learning and development opportunities to improve business analytics acumen.

What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on capital expenditures, capex policies and governance
Strong knowledge of financial analysis, including return on investment (ROI), net present value (NPV), and internal rate of return (IRR)
Strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple ongoing projects.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $112,000 to $154,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
