Job Description
The (ZAP) Zion Apartment Program targets the population of clients with a primary diagnosis of substance abuse and who are experiencing homelessness in addition, to providing the necessary supportive skills to function in the community to obtain independence.Counselor II Key responsibilities
- Evaluating and assessing clients.
- Prepares and implements treatment plans with clients.
- Provides therapeutic and supportive services to clients, including individual, group, and family counseling and case management.
- Prepares and presents education seminars to clients, their families, the general public and other service providers on chemical dependency and/or mental health.
- Case management activities are generally community-based.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or
- Bachelor’s in any field and two (2) years’ experience, or
- High School diploma or GED and five (5) years’ experience
Scheduled Hours: 24 hours a week
- Friday- Monday 7am-1:30pm
- $5.00 per hour shift differential for working hours deemed eligible for shift and weekend premium
