Oracle Financial Services Global Industry Unit (FSGIU) is one of the leading Banking and Insurance product providers across the globe. As the FSGIU continues to expand its offerings, the Finance, Risk and Compliance Product Management team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of FSGIU’s cloud services by building best in class capability delivered in the cloud, offering our customers flexibility and choice.

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Director of Product Management to lead our Finance and Accounting Product Management team. This role is crucial in developing and driving the strategy and roadmap for Oracle Financial Services Global Industries Unit Finance and Accounting initiatives.

This is a well-suited opportunity for Product Management Leadership candidates who have significant experience in taking new product capabilities to market in the Banking and Insurance sector.

Candidates with Finance and Accounting product backgrounds are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy and roadmap in alignment with FSGIU’s overall business goals.

+ Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and other team members to bring new product features and capabilities to market.

+ Understand market dynamics, regulatory environments, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions and strategy.

+ Provide thought leadership and drive innovation in the accounting and finance domain.

+ Engage in strategic conversations with senior customer stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their challenges, and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

+ Lead, mentor, and grow an impactful product management team.

+ Drive cross-functional teams to deliver on product achievements and ensure a seamless customer experience.

+ Work with Oracle Consulting and Partners to ensure successful customer implementations and support product upgrade and expansion for existing customers.

+ Partner with other Oracle business units to deliver integrated capabilities that maximise Oracle’s end to end value proposition.

Qualifications:

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a significant portion focused on Accounting and Finance products.

+ Experience managing a group of 10 PMs or larger

+ Proven track record of leading and delivering complex, high-stakes product initiatives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

+ Deep technical understanding of accounting and finance requirements for the Banking and Insurance sector

+ Experience in developing cloud-based products utilising core cloud infrastructure and platform services.

+ Strong leadership skills and experience managing impactful teams.

+ Technical depth with data management requirements for Financial Institutions.

+ Customer-obsessed mentality with a strong focus on delivering value to customers.

+ Impeccable organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

+ Excellent partner management skills with experience in building and nurturing strategic partnerships.

+ Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting and Finance, or an equivalent. An MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.

US: Hiring Range: from $159,300 to $338,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
